Paint Protection Film FAQs
Answers to common questions about PPF installation, coverage, care, and pricing.
What is paint protection film (PPF)?
Paint protection film is a clear, durable urethane film installed over painted vehicle surfaces. It helps guard the finish from stone chips, road debris, light scratches, and everyday wear.
What areas of my vehicle can PPF protect?
Coverage can range from high-impact areas such as the bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors to full-vehicle coverage across painted surfaces. EVACA PLUS offers four starting-price packages to help you choose.
How much does PPF installation cost in Burnaby?
Our currentEstimate prices are $800 for Partial Front End, $1,600 for Full Front End, $2,200 for Full Front Track, and $4,600 for Full Vehicle. Final pricing can depend on the vehicle and selected coverage. Compare packages.
How long does PPF last?
Service life varies with film quality, driving conditions, exposure, and care. Ask us about the film option being quoted and its manufacturer care and warranty information for your vehicle.
Does PPF change the appearance of my paint?
Clear PPF is designed to preserve the look of your paint while adding a protective layer. The final appearance depends on the film finish and the condition of the paint underneath.
Can PPF help prevent rock chips and scratches?
PPF helps reduce damage from many common impacts and surface abrasions, including stone chips and road debris. It cannot prevent every type of damage or guarantee that paint will never be marked.
Is PPF self-healing?
Some films can reduce the appearance of light surface marks when exposed to warmth. Self-healing performance varies by product and does not repair deep scratches, cuts, or paint damage.
How should I care for my vehicle after PPF installation?
Follow the aftercare instructions provided at installation. In general, allow the film's edges to settle before washing, use gentle washing methods, and avoid directing high-pressure water at film edges.
Can PPF be installed on a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y?
Yes. EVACA PLUS provides PPF options for Tesla Model 3, Model Y, and other vehicles. Tell us your vehicle year and model when requesting a quote so we can confirm the coverage options.
